Have you ever wondered how you can add your Squarespace blog categories to your navigation? If you answered “YES!” you've come to the right place. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to add your categories to your main navigation and a handy way for linking to your blog categories in other places on your website.

How To Link To Blog Categories In Squarespace
So first, let’s go through the steps to link to your blog categories in the main menu of your website, your navigation.
In your Squarespace dashboard, click on Pages and click the + icon.
Select the Link option
Enter the name of the category you want to link to
Press the Settings (cogwheel) icon and click Page.
Search for the blog page and select it.
Choose the category you want to link to from the drop down menu. It’s worth mentioning that you can also link to your tags if you have only a handful of tags.
Click Save to save your changes.
You can then repeat this process to add other categories to your Squarespace navigation. You can also use this method to link to your blog post categories within a text in your blog post or any page.
Linking To Blog Categories With Summary Blocks
Let’s say you want to showcase some of your blog categories on the homepage of your site. What you can do in this case is to use summary blocks to give them a preview of what they can expect on your blog. Follow these steps:
Click Edit to edit the page where you want to link to your blog categories
Add a new blank section
Add a summary block
Select your blog page
Under Filter Options, choose the category you want to link to
Style the summary block to display the way you want it to look
Click Done > Save Changes.
And that’s how you can link to your blog categories on other pages on your site.
